Welcome

Founded in 2006, Chasing Rainbows Australia promises to be one of Australia's most dynamic and rewarding not-for-profit social justice associations. We continue to work hard to provide hands-on volunteering opportunities to the youth of Sydney. With their energy, ability and knowledge we are creating meaningful long-term projects that achieve our goal of reducing social inequality.

Please take some time to browse through our page and if you share the same vision as the CRA team we strongly encourage you to register your interest in supporting our cause.

Project Four

Project FOUR was concerned with altering the plight of some of the most disadvantaged students in the Greater Western Sydney region.

Enthusiastic Volunteers

In conjunction with St Patrick's Blacktown, Chasing Rainbows Australia through a team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers, developed a personal and effective approach to learning.

Focusing on Education

Focusing on aspects of education from leadership, to computer skills, to basic literacy and numeracy, the team of volunteers have had a profound impact on the lives of these students.

Positive Impact

The team at Chasing Rainbows Australia really enjoyed this project and it opened their eyes to a world that often goes unseen. We hope that the impact is positive not only for the CRA team, but also for these students who will go on to make great leaders of the future.

What our volunteers have to say

I'm studying my Masters in Teaching and there's no better way to get relevant experience and also make a difference to our community. Thanks Chasing Rainbows, you've opened my eyes to my career future." Ashley

As a volunteer, I love being actively involved, and working intensively with the children and before long, I was hooked! I wouldn’t give up my Tuesday afternoons with these fabulous kids for anything. They continue to inspire me, always make me laugh and remind me that I am making a difference in their lives!" Naomi
I've really enjoyed every opportunity Chasing Rainbows has given me. It doesn't matter how bad my day seems to be at work, these kids always seem to make me smile. They are incredibly grateful for our efforts and funnily enough, I'm incredibly grateful for them!" Jack
